ABOUT
Unfortunately I’m not the greatest at playing accordion, but I do have a certain knack for catching toads and wearing whale shirts.

When I was a child my parents carried a camera just about everywhere. Going to Yuma Arizona to walk around in the 110°+ degree heat to study a rare breed of horned lizard native only to that area? Camera. Hiking half a mile up a snowy ravine to tranquilize a bear and weigh its cubs? Camera. Wading through mud so deep it came to our hips in the dead of night looking for frogs about the size of a quarter? Camera. All these experiences taught me one thing: If I was to succeed in the professional world, I would need a camera. To further drive this point home my parents also insisted on depriving me of the opportunity of taking pictures, supposedly on the premise that I “took too many.” This clever tactic only served to increase my separation anxiety and make me want a camera that much more. A very well thought out plan. Once I was older I went out and bought my very own camera. Now my parents look at me with pride and joy knowing that their legacy will live to fight another day.
